Hi, I’m Marie.
I live Washington, D.C. where I spend my days writing music, poems, and stories, cooking for my podcast, How Easy is That, managing five unsuccessful Instagram pages, and running a non-profit. I also spend a lot of time watching terrible television, shaking my fist in the general direction of the White House, and rooting through secondhand stores.
I am originally from Miami, but have considered myself a resident of Boston, Paris, Beijing, Gainesville, Florida, and, of course, D.C.
I received my B.A. in English and Communication from Boston College and my M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Florida.
